Our Victim Liaison Officer may choose to refer a victim to a variety of agencies to further support them with their experience of being a victim of crime.
The Trust also works very closely with The Parole Board, an independent body who works with criminal justice partners to protect the public by risk assessing prisoners to decide whether they can be safely released into the community.
The Trust works in close partnership with local prisons and seconded staff to assist and support with various tasks including; working with offenders to identify and address their individual reasons for committing crime, contributing towards the offender’s risk management during their prison sentence and resettlement upon release.
The agencies the Trust works with are varied and are by no means covered in entirety by this section of the website. Offender Managers work with partners on a case-by-case and individual basis dependent upon the offender’s risk and needs.
