Working in Partnership

Local Delivery Structure

Durham Tees Valley Probation Trust has developed a delivery model that ensures its services are embedded into the local communities we serve. The services we provide are split down into 6 Local Delivery Units (LDUs) that are co terminus with the Police Basic Command Units in Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, Durham and Darlington. This enables us to develop and maintain close working relationships with those organisations that share our aim of protecting the public and our commitment to reduce reoffending and reintegrate offenders into a crime free lifestyle.

Each LDU is led by a Senior Manager who is responsible for the effective Supervision and Management of offenders and for developing and maintaining successful working relationships with local partners. Importantly our LDU leaders ensure that the Trust meets its statutory obligations as a responsible authority by representing the Trust at;

  • Local Strategic Partnerships
  • Safeguarding Children Board
  • Safeguarding Adults Board
  • Children’s Trust Board
  • Supporting People Commissioning Group
  • Drug and Alcohol Commissioning Group
  • Drug and Alcohol Delivery Group
  • Community Safety Partnerships
  • Contest Silver Board (Anti Terrorism)
  • Domestic Violence Forums
  • Reducing Reoffending Group
  • Public Sector Performance Group
  • MARAC Executive Group
  • Serious Case Review Group
  • MAPPA Strategic Boards
  • MAPPA Responsible Authority Group
  • Court Liaison Group
  • Area Liaison Group
  • Health Champion Group
  • ETE Commissioning Group

The LDU delivery structure is part of a wider Organisational Structure.
