All Trust staff complete regular Child Protection Training and integral in our daily practice is safeguarding the welfare of children and protecting them from harm by sharing and acting upon any concerns we have regarding the safety and wellbeing of a child with Childrens' Services.
Any concerns a staff member has about a child will be passed onto Children’s Services who will conduct an assessment. If Children’s Services decide to continue their involvement with the child, the Offender Manager will work very closely with the Social Worker nominated to manage the case, regularly exchange information, attend meetings, attend child protection conferences or produce a report.
